John presides over SOMC, which he founded in 2008. John started his career as an engineer for Coherent Inc, a designer and manufacturer of industrial, scientific, and commercial lasers in 1977. He moved into manufacturing management with companies such as Elma Engineering, Perkin-Elmer and most recently Cypress Semiconductor Inc serving in numerous positions through his 20 years ending 2007 as Vice President of Subcontract Management Group conducting business in South East Asia since 1992.
He brings with him 33 years of engineering, operational manufacturing experience and a wealth of knowledge and business management expertise. He is well positioned as the leader of SOMC, a breakthrough concept providing outsourced operational management services.

Tim joined SOMC as Supply Chain Director in 2009. Tim began his career in 1976 in leadership roles with Monolithic Memories Inc, American Microsystems Inc, Cypress Semiconductor Inc and Microchip (Thailand) Inc.
In 1992, he moved to Thailand to assist in Cypress Semiconductor’s manufacturing move to Asia. Tim then moved to Alphatec, Public Company Ltd (Thailand), as the Director of Production & Inventory Control and Logistics, and Circuit Electronic Industries Public Company Ltd (Thailand) as Vice-President of Production & Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Purchasing.
Tim provided successful outcomes in the areas of business development, capacity planning, logistics and quality.
Lenny French
Director of Test Operations

Lenny has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor operations with 13 years in various locations around Asia. He has served as VP of MCT’s Asia Manufacturing, Dir Test Operations at Amkor Technology Taiwan, Dir of Microcontroller Test Operations, as well as Product Eng Mgr at Microchip, Director of Test Business Development at ASAT, and Fab Process and Equipment Technical Expert at Eastman Kodak Research Labs.
Lenny has managed test projects, technology and manufacturing transfers, new product introductions, equipment selection and optimization, and manufacturing operations startup and staffing. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University.
